Delhi’s predator Shakti Gupta held for raping a minor in Goa

  Shakti Gupta Goa Amidst the opposition’s allegations of deteriorating law and order in Goa, another horrifying case of rape was reported from North Goa. Shakti Gupta , a predator from Delhi has been arrested on charges of luring, kidnapping and raping a minor girl in Goa. The accused identified as Shakti Gupta from Delhi , is a ravage who lures minor girls from Goa and sexually molests them. The 36-year-old Delhi man was arrested last week after he allegedly knowingly lured a minor girl into an illicit sexual relationship with him after inviting her for dinner. He confined the girl in his villa room for the entire night and committed rape by forcing himself on her against her consent.  After the matter came to light once the incident was reported on November 26 by the victim, another victim who was also targeted by the accused, Shakti Gupta in the same manner reported and registered a case against him, the police officials said. On charges of raping a minor from Mumbai, Shakti has been sent to police custody by the local court. With several drug offences and other criminal cases on his record, the accused, Shakti Gupta is suspected to have been hiding in Goa away from the Delhi police’s radar. According to officials, Shakti Gupta is a notorious serial criminal from South Delhi and had moved to Goa few years back. It is a shame that Goa which is known as the sunshine state of India and perhaps one of the most-safest destinations across the country has now become a hideout spot for drug offenders and criminals like Shakti Gupta.
